  Over 99% of our full-time undergraduate students receive some type of financial assistance to continue their education. Transfer merit scholarships range from $10,000-$12,500 per year.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  Yes, we accept transfer students with a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of a 2.0. Specific programs may require a higher GPA or other credentials. Please contact the Office of Admissions with any specific questions. 800.462.7652

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:

• Official Transcripts:
  Students must send in a college transcript from all of their previously attended colleges. Unless student has obtained an associates degree, a high school transcript is necessary.
• SAT Scores:
  SAT scores are not required for acceptance as a transfer student.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  A letter is not required.
• Essay:
  An essay is not required.
• Application Fee:
  Applying online is free to every student.
• Interview:
  Interviews are not required.
• Associates Degree Required:
  An associates degree is not required to transfer.
• Other Requirements:
  Specific programs may require additional information. For example, all art students must submit an art portfolio. Please contact the office of admissions for details.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Typically, a C or better is required for transfer credits. If an associates degree has been obtained, this may change depending on the class and the program plan.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  We accept up to 90 transfer credits. There is no minimum number of credits that can be transferred. All students must complete at least 30 credits at Daemen to obtain a degree.
