  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Financial aid and scholarships are available to all who apply and qualify but some funds are distributed on a first-come first-serve basis. Therefore, you should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after submitting your application for admission.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Your official high school transcript or, if applicable, GED certificate is required. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended are also required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Submitting SAT or ACT exam scores, though not required, is strongly encouraged.
  • Essay:
    Your admission will not hinge on your essays. It is rare, if ever, when a student essay is used to form a judgment on admission. Relax, be yourself, and tell us about yourself. We want to know you, not judge you.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $40 nonrefundable application fee or fee waiver.
  • Interview:
    After submitting an Application, applicants must sit for a portfolio review or audition with the chair or faculty member of the department to which they are applying.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    College level, non-remedial course work graded “C” or better from regionally accredited institutions will be considered for transfer at the time of application for admission.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 70 semester credits of Humanities and Science coursework and Studio coursework (determined at the time of the portfolio review or audition) may be granted and applied towards a student’s degree.
