Concordia University Texas is a private, coeducational institution of liberal arts and sciences offering undergraduate and graduate degrees. Concordia also offers an Accelerated Degree Program.     CTX accepts transfer students who meet our admissions criteria. Transfer credit is given for courses that support the liberal arts framework of Concordia University Texas in which a grade of "C" or better is earned.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Concordia University Texas requires a minimum GPA of 2.0 for transfer. Students who fall below the requirement will be evaluated by the Office of Admissions and may still be eligible for provisional admission to Concordia.
  • Official Transcripts:
    A student with less than 18 earned college hours must send official transcripts from High School and each college attended. A student with more than 18 earned hours must send only transcripts from all colleges attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have less than 18 earned hours, you are required to submit your ACT/SAT scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Concordia University Texas does not publish a requirement for letters of recommendation.
  • Essay:
    Concordia University Texas does not publish a requirement for the submission of an essay, nor does it ask for one with your application.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $25 nonrefundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    Concordia University Texas does not publish a requirement for a personal interview.
