Columbus State Community College has been dedicated to meeting the educational needs of the community for more than 40 years. The College has grown from an initial enrollment of 67 students in 1963, to its current thriving campus of more than 23,000 students. Columbus State's Career & Technical Programs division offers two-year career programs in more than 55 areas of business, health, public service, human service, and engineering technologies. Students can also take the first two years of their bachelor's degree here through the College of Arts and Science, then transfer to a four-year college. The small, friendly downtown campus is conveniently located near downtown Columbus, on 80 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.

    It is very important that you submit your official college transcripts (sealed, unopened) as soon as possible to allow our Records and Registration Department sufficient time to evaluate your transcripts.

  • Essay:
    Essays are required for admission to some selective admission programs.
  • Application Fee:
    $50 one-time nonrefundable matriculation fee is applied to your first quarter.

Information for Transfer Out Students

  • Transfer Agreements:
    The Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees are designed to allow for the transfer and application of all credits earned at CSCC to the bachelor degree requirements of most colleges and universities. Agreements exist with over 10 schools.
  • Special Programs:
    A College Transfer Fair is held every year for students interested in transferring to a four-year institution.
