Colorado College's innovative approach to the liberal arts is the Block Plan, our uniquely intensive academic schedule that allows students to dive into a different subject every three-and-a-half weeks. Students take one class at a time for three-and-a-half weeks, totaling four classes per semester and eight classes per year.

    Colorado College views the financial aid process as a partnership between students, parents, and the institution. Many families are able to afford Colorado College with the combination of grants, modest loans, reasonable work opportunities, and family resources. We meet 100% of your family's eligibility for need-based financial aid at Colorado College when you complete the financial aid application process within our deadlines.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    The total estimated cost of attendance is $79,562 which includes tuition, fees, housing, meal plan, books, supplies, transportation and miscellaneous incidentals. All student are required to have health insurance. We offer a plan for $2,817.

  • Accepts Transfers:
    At Colorado College, we value transfer students and what they bring to our community. We require transfer applicants to have completed a full semester of college work, or to have already earned/completed college credit.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    We require official copies of all secondary (high school) and higher education transcripts for transfer applicants.
  • SAT Scores:
    There will not be a negative impact on the application evaluation due to the selection of the test-optional policy.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    We require two academic evaluations/recommendations from two college/university professors.
  • Essay:
    In addition to the required personal statement for the application of your choice, all applicants will be required to complete one supplemental essay for their application to be considered complete.
  • Interview:
    Interviews, while not required, are highly recommended and are an excellent way to learn more about Colorado College and express your interest in our school.
  • Other Requirements:
    Colorado College requires a completed copy of the College Official's Report to release a decision regarding admission.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A letter grade of 'C-' or higher is required to earn transfer credit. 'D+' and below will not earn transfer credit at Colorado College.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A transfer student can only transfer in a maximum of 16 CC units, combined total, (AP, IB, other college). You must earn 64 semester hours of credit at Colorado College to earn a bachelor's degree.
