Arkansas State University Three Rivers (ASUTR) is a comprehensive, public, two-year institution of higher education in Malvern, Arkansas, providing accessible, high-value associate degrees and certificates in a quality academic environment that is focused on both student success and the economic development needs of the communities it serves. The College offers more than 50 programs of study in academic, career and technical disciplines to approximately 3,500 credit, non-credit, adult education (three sites—Hot Spring, Clark and Grant Counties) and workforce students, while serving the culturally and economically diverse populations in the five-county service area of Hot Spring, Saline, Clark, Grant and Dallas Counties.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit an official high school transcript, or proof of GED. Any applicant seeking transfer status must submit an official transcript from each institution previously attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    Submit ACT, SAT, Accuplacer or COMPASS Placement scores to the Office of Student Affairs. If you do not have placement scores, you can take the Accuplacer assessment at ASU Three Rivers for a fee of $10.
  • Other Requirements:
    Provide proof of two (2) measles, (1) mumps and (1) rubella immunization or an authorized waiver.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    ASU Three Rivers reserves the right to determine the number of credit hours accepted toward a degree. Grades of C or better will transfer; however, the student must be award-seeking before transfer credit is posted to the ASU Three Rivers transcript.
