CSN guarantees access to a quality education in high-demand professional and technology centered careers. Education is driven by progressive, faculty-crafted learning environments in state of the art facilities with comprehensive student services and energetic community partnerships. To meet demand to develop public health administrators and college faculty in dental hygiene CSN also awards a 4-year baccalaureate degree in addition to its nationally recognized associate degree program in dental hygiene. the last decade, CSN more than doubled its size in student enrollment and full-time faculty. Each semester, CSN registers nearly 40,000 students. Over 1,800 students graduate yearly with associate degrees and certificates of achievement.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    If your cumulative GPA is below 2.0, ā€œDā€ or below grades will be denied.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer students are required to submit official college transcripts to the Office of the Registrar. You are also required to fill out a Request for Transfer Credit Evaluation Form and submit that to the Office of the Registrar.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no application fee.
  • Other Requirements:
    New transfer students who have not completed a college-level English or mathematics course/equivalent, with a C or better are required to take placement tests.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The College will accept ā€œDā€ grades as elective credit provided the cumulative grade point average from the transfer institution, in the semester in question, is 2.0 or above.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To meet graduation requirements, a transfer student must complete the appropriate 15 credit hours in residence for a degree or certificate.
