    When you apply for admission, you automatically apply for all our merit-based scholarships for transfer students. 3.20-3.49 GPA $7,500 for commuters $10,000 for residents 3.50-4.00 GPA $9,000 for commuters $12,000 for residents Phi Theta Kappa; offered to PTK members, interested in majors other than Nursing. 3.50-4.00 GPA $1,500

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Potential transfer students need to have earned a 2.0 grade point average or better in their college-level work. Nursing students need a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Teacher Education students need a cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Have your institution(s) forward official transcript(s) of your college-level work. If you have earned an Associates Degree, you must submit your high school transcripts
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have earned fewer than 24 college credits, have your SAT or ACT scores sent to the admission office directly from the College Board.
  • Letters of Recommendation:

  • Essay:
    Submit a personal essay on any topic of your choice.
  • Application Fee:
    Students can apply online either through the Common Application, or CMSV application for free. If applying with our paper application, students must enclose the $35 application fee.

  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Candidates from community colleges may be granted a maximum of 65 transfer credits; candidates from four year institutions, a maximum of 75 transfer credits.
