The College of Central Florida provides opportunities for students to pursue careers in fields they love. Founded in 1957 as Central Florida Junior College, CF has grown to become the higher education hub for Marion, Citrus and Levy counties. CF offers Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and bachelor’s degrees as well as certificates. With more than 150 academic pathways to choose from, our focus is on providing high-quality education that meets the needs of our community.

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    To obtain federal, state, and institutional financial aid (including many scholarships) you must complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. CF’s federal school code is 001471.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    The cost for in-state associate level courses is $112.92 per credit hour, or approximately $2,832* per year for a student with a 12-credit course load for two semesters.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Send your final and official high school transcripts, or official GED transcript, to CF. You’ll need to provide transcripts from every college or university you have attended in the past.
  • SAT Scores:
    Placement test scores are used to determine if preparatory courses are recommended. If you have not taken the SAT or ACT, you can take the PERT at one of the CF campus locations.
  • Application Fee:
    $30 non-refundable with the exception of high school students applying for dual enrollment

    Students must have earned a minimum of 25 percent of the credits toward their degree at CF.
