Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  2.75 for the Master of Divinity program and 3.0 for the Master of Arts program
• Official Transcripts:
  Yes
• SAT Scores:
  Not Applicable
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Yes, 4 letters of recommendation are required as well as a letter from the Chief Academic Officer of the transferring school discussing the applicant's academic ability, character and personal development, and readiness for graduate theological work.
• Essay:
  Yes, a personal statement of 5-8 pages in length responding to a specific set of questions.
• Application Fee:
  $35
• Interview:
  Generally an interview is not necessary. However, the admissions committee may request a personal interview in some cases.
• Other Requirements:
  Transferred coursework is generally for applied to elective credit only and all requests for transferred coursework must be reviewed by the VP for Academic Life. Course syllabi are generally required to determine transferability of courses.

• Minimum Grade:
  Minimum grade for trasnferred coursework is a B- (2.75).
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Maximum number of transferrable 3-credit courses is 13 for the Master of Divinity program and 8 for the Master of Arts program.
