Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    You must have a minimum GPA of at least a 2.0 and be in good academic standing to apply for transfer admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official transcript from each college or university previously attended is required, current students must submit a "preliminary" transcript. You must also submit your official high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have fewer than 30 hours of transferable credit, the submission of official SAT or ACT scores is required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $40 non-refundable application fee.
  • Other Requirements:
    Upon acceptance to Clayton State University, you may be required to take a placement exam. A certificate of immunication is also required of all.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A minimum grade of C or better will be accepted for transfer credit (D’s are accepted in some majors and for some lower division courses, please contact the school or college that you are interested in pursuing for more information).
