    Clarkson welcomes transfer applications from students who are currently attending another college or university inside or outside the United States.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from each college/university you have attended are required. (If you attended college outside of New York State, provide course descriptions.) An official high school record is required if you have less than 24 hours of credit.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have less than 24 hours of credit, official SAT or ACT scores arew required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Two letters of recommendation are required. One should be from a high school counselor, principal, or headmaster. The other should be from either a high school teacher or college professor.
  • Essay:
    A personal statement describing a special interest, experience or achievement is only required for students applying to pre-physical therapy, but are recommended for all students.
  • Interview:
    We highly recommend that all transfer applicants visit Clarkson and participate in an admission interview.
