  • Accepts Transfers:
    Students are welcome to apply as transfer applicants to Clark for full-time enrollment for the fall or spring semester.
  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    Outside seminars, internships, and remedial or vocational coursework are not transferable to Clark.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Clark does not have a minimum GPA requirement for transfer admissions.
  • Official Transcripts:
    An unofficial final secondary school transcript and unofficial college transcripts are required for admission consideration. Enrolling students are required to submit official transcripts prior to enrollment.
  • SAT Scores:
    Clark is test optional. Official SAT scores can be sent to CEEB Code 3279 and official ACT scores can be sent to CEEB code 1808.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    We prefer a letter of recommendation from a faculty member at your most recently attended college or university but will accept a letter from: a mentor a supervisor a community leader anyone who can comment on your potential to succeed at Clark
  • Essay:
    Applicants are required to write a personal essay as part of their application. Supplemental essays are optional.
  • Application Fee:
    Clark has a $0 application fee.
  • Interview:
    There are many ways to interview and all are equally good options. You can sign up to interview on campus, with an admissions counselor while we travel, or virtually from the comfort of your own home. We can't wait to hear your story.
  • Other Requirements:
    A College Report Form from the registrar or dean of students at your current college is required. A Mid-Term-Report Form from your current school is required if you’re currently in your first full-time semester of college.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Clark considers credit from select advanced examinations with qualifying marks and college-level coursework completed at regionally accredited higher education institutions with grades of C or higher.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To earn a degree at Clark, a student must earn at least 16 units (64 semester credits) in residence at Clark. The maximum number of external credits that may be awarded to an undergraduate transfer student is 16 units (64 semester credits).
