Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  If you're seeking financial assistance with the costs associated with university study, CSU provides access to a variety of scholarships, loans, subsidies and schemes.
• Tuition and Fees:
  As a fee paying student, the Australian Government doesn't contribute towards your study costs, you pay a tuition fee for each subject in the course. A CSP is a higher education place for which the Commonwealth makes a contribution towards the cost.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  Credit may be awarded for specific subjects, a number of electives or a level of subjects, meaning you could be exempt from completing one or more subjects listed in the course structure of your degree.
• Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
  TAFE is a terrific pathway to uni. At CSU, we highly value students from TAFE and have developed many options to support and encourage students to further their study at university.
• Credit For Life Experience:
  Credit, also called recognition of prior learning (RPL), may be awarded for study or relevant work experience completed prior to applying for a course.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  Official transcripts of any post-secondary or tertiary studies indicating the subjects attempted, grades obtained and proof of completion are required. (NB: results notices or enrolment records are not sufficient.)
• SAT Scores:
  ATAR of 70 or 65 or its equivalent (including regional bonus).
• Other Requirements:
  If you are not an Australian or New Zealand citizen, evidence of permanent residency status in Australia (e.g. a clear copy of relevant passport pages showing visa status) is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Credit is generally assessed on an individual basis with each application, although some courses do have established credit arrangements.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Successful study at university level (minimum 2 subjects) is required.

Information for Transfer Out Students

• Special Programs:
  The cross institutional study scheme allows you to undertake a unit of study at CSU that may not be offered at the university in which you are currently enrolled.
