Century College is a 2-year community and technical college located in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. As one of the largest two-year colleges in Minnesota, we serve nearly 16,400 credit and non-credit students every year. We offer degrees, diplomas, certificates, and courses in general education and transfer, business, human services, health sciences, technology, engineering, applied design, industrial and non-credit workforce training. With a variety of student support and student life opportunities, including athletics, student clubs and organizations, campus theatre, Multicultural Center, LGBTQ Center, Veterans Center, and much more, Century College provides a welcoming and vibrant campus community.

Scholarships and Financial Aid:

Eligibility for financial aid is determined annually based on the FAFSA. The Century College Foundation offers over 100 scholarships annually totaling more than $300,000.

Tuition & Fees = $203.49 per credit total. Some programs have differential tuition.

Credit For Life Experience:

You may be able to earn college credit for what you have learned from work and life experiences through high school articulated credit, independent study, military service, professional workshops/training, volunteer activities and work experience.

Transfer Application Requirements

Official Transcripts:

Official high school transcripts should be submitted confirming graduation. Official college transcripts should be sent to the Transfer Student Services Office.
SAT Scores:

Although not required for admission, students may submit test results for possible waivers from placement testing.
Application Fee:

A one-time, non-refundable $20 application fee is required. Transfer students eligible for the Pell Grant or with economic need may request a waiver.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

All college level courses in which a grade of A, B, C, D or P/S will be considered for transfer. All awards (degrees, diplomas, and certificates) require a Century college-level and cumulative GPA of 2.0.
Credits (Min/Max):

A minimum of 20 college-level credits must be earned at Century to be eligible for a degree. This is reduced to 12 for student transferring 8 from another MN State institution or the University of MN.
