Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  More than 85 percent of this year’s freshman class is receiving financial aid or a scholarship. The average one-year aid package for first-year students receiving aid in 2012-13 was $26,500. For the class of 2016, financial aid awards ranged from $5,000 to $43,800. Competitive scholarships at Centre are available for 40 to 50 percent of each freshman class, valued from $20,000 to over $175,200 (comprehensive fee) over four years.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Any transfer student should be in good academic and social standing at his/her previous institution and be eligible to return there.
• Official Transcripts:
  An official transcript of your complete high school academic record is required. Official college transcripts from each institution you have previously attended, including the college or university you currently attend, are required.
• SAT Scores:
  An official ACT or SAT-1 score report is required. We will accept scores that are included on an official high school transcript.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  A Short Answer Activity question, as well as a Personal Essay are required on the application.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Credit will be granted only for courses in which the grade attained was “C-” or better.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Transfer students must complete all of the College’s requirements for graduation. In addition, they must complete at least 42 credit hours at Centre, including 23 of the last 30.
