Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from ALL colleges attended are required. If you have earned 24 credits at your prior institution, or are over the age of 24, your high school transcript is not required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have earned 24 credits at your prior institution, or are over the age of 24, SAT scores are not required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of recommendation are not required, but will strengthen your application and enable the Admissions Committee to make a better determination of the College's ability to meet your academic needs.
  • Essay:
    An admissions essay is required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $30 non-refundable application fee or fee waiver.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only courses earned with a C- or better from a regionally or nationally accredited institution are considered transferable.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    72 credits may be transferred from a community college. 96 credits may be transferred from another Bachelor degree granting institution. You must complete 32 credits at Centenary College to meet our residency requirement.
