Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

A transfer candidate should have achieved a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at all colleges and universities attended (except for Nursing who must have a 3.5). Transfer students must also be in good academic and social standing at the last institution attended.
Official Transcripts:

Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you attended are required. Your high school transcript is required if you have less than one year of college credit.
SAT Scores:

Standardized test scores are not required.
Essay:

An essay or personal statement may be recommended of some applicants.
Application Fee:

There is a $25 non-refundable application fee.
Interview:

An interview may be required of some applicants.

You must audition with your primary instrument for acceptance into the Conservatory of Music. An audition application is required after you are academically accepted to Capital. Candidates for the Conservatory of Music should demonstrate satisfactory
