  • Accepts Transfers:
    You will qualify as an upper division transfer student if you complete a minimum of 60 transferable semesters or 90 quarter units and are in good standing at the last college attended. Stan State does not accept lower division transfer applicants.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A minimum college GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required of transfer applicants.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities are required. High school transcripts may be required of some applicants.
  • SAT Scores:
    Standardized test scores may be required of some applicants.
  • Other Requirements:
    A statement of good standing from prior institutions is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    D is the lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A minimum of 70 credit units may be transferred from a two-year institution, and 90 from a four-year. You must complete 30 credits at Stan State to earn a bachelor's degree.
