    There are many different types of aid available within each of the main categories of grants, loans, and scholarships. It's worth it to review each type to find which one might suit you and your circumstances. Not all aid types will apply to everyone, but nearly everyone can find aid that works for them.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    San Bernardino has a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for transfer admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    The submission of official transcripts from all previously attended postsecondary institutions is required. If you have fewer than 56 semester units of transferrable college credit, your official high school transcript is also required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Freshman and Transfer applicants who have fewer than 56 semester or 84 quarter units of transferrable college credit must submit scores, unless exempt from either the ACT or the SAT I of the college board.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable, non-transferable application fee of $55 if you do not qualify for a fee waiver. The need based fee waiver may be used at up to six campuses and will be confirmed once you submit your application.

    The minimum grade required for transfer credit is C.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You must earn 45 Quarter Units (36 upper division, 18 in the major, 12 in general education) at San Bernardino to earn a bachelor's degree.
