Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  To apply for aid, you'll first want to start by completing the FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application. Fresno State awards over a thousand scholarships totaling more than 4.3 million dollars in free money to incoming and continuing students. Scholarships are offered by various colleges, departments, and organizations to students who meet specific criteria. Regardless of your accomplishments, interests, background, we encourage all students to apply for scholarships.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  You must have earned 60 or more transferable semester or 90 quarter units to be eligible for transfer admission.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Fresno State will admit undergraduate applicants who meet the minimum CSU requirements and have GPA of 2.00. Transfer applicants who are non-California resident must have a GPA of 2.40 or above.
• Official Transcripts:
  Official college transcripts from all previously attended institutions are required. A high school transcript may be required of some applicants.
• SAT Scores:
  Standardized test scores may be required of some applicants.
• Other Requirements:
  A statement of good standing from previously attended institutions may be required of some applicants.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Credits (Min/Max):
  A maximum of 70 credits may be transferred from a two-year institution. You must complete 30 credits at Fresno State to earn a bachelor's degree.
