Information for Transfer In Students

  • Accepts Transfers:
    To apply as a transfer student you must be in good academic standing and your last institution, have a minimum 2.0 GPA in transferable coursework, and have a minimum of 60 transferable semester units (90 quarter) with 30 in General Education.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A minimum college GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required of transfer applicants.
  • Application Fee:
    A $70 non-refundable application filing fee (or fee waiver) must be paid at the time of application submission.
  • Other Requirements:
    A statement of good standing from prior institutions is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 70 semester units may be transferred from a two-year institution. You must complete 30 credits at Cal Poly Pomona to earn a bachelor's degree.
