70% of Cal Poly Pomona undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid. Completing and submitting the FAFSA is free and quick, and it gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college (Federal Student Aid). In addition, your FAFSA is used to determine your eligibility for California State and Cal Poly Pomona aid, and some scholarship providers may use your FAFSA information to determine whether you qualify for their awards.

Information for Transfer In Students

Accepts Transfers:

To apply as a transfer student you must be in good academic standing and your last institution, have a minimum 2.0 GPA in transferable coursework, and have a minimum of 60 transferable semester units (90 quarter) with 30 in General Education.

Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

A minimum college GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required of transfer applicants.
Application Fee:

A $70 non-refundable application filing fee (or fee waiver) must be paid at the time of application submission.
Other Requirements:

A statement of good standing from prior institutions is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

Credits (Min/Max):

A maximum of 70 semester units may be transferred from a two-year institution. You must complete 30 credits at Cal Poly Pomona to earn a bachelor's degree.
