Located in Vallejo, The California Maritime Academy (Cal Maritime) is a unique and specialized campus of the 23-campus California State University (CSU) system. We are one of only seven degree-granting maritime academies in the US — and the only one on the West Coast. We offer bachelor’s degrees in business administration - international business and logistics, facilities engineering technology, global studies and maritime affairs, marine engineering technology, marine transportation and mechanical engineering, as well as a master's degree in transportation and engineering management. We work closely with industry, government and the community to deliver additional resources in continuing education and training, research and job placement.

    The Financial Aid Office at the California Maritime Academy assists students and families in helping to pay for the cost of education, regardless of economic circumstances. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Have at least a 2.0 cumulative College GPA (2.4 for non-California residents) and be in good academic standing at the last college attended.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended postsecondary institutions are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    All Marine Transportation applicants must submit SAT or ACT scores. All other applicants must also submit SAT or ACT scores unless high school GPA was above 3.0.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $55.00 application fee required when you submit the online application.
