    Merit scholarships ranging from $10,000-$20,000 are available for outstanding transfer students. Scholarships are based on the application and are renewable. Transfer students are also eligible for need-based financial aid.

    Each year, Bryant University welcomes students with prior university/college credit into the university’s close-knit learning community.
  • Transfer Agreements:
    Bryant University is proud to partner with several colleges to offer articulation agreements.
  • Credit For Life Experience:
    Credit by examination will be granted to a student, when applicable to the degree program in which a student is enrolled.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The Admission Committee generally requires a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA for all terms of college enrollment to be admitted as a transfer applicant.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school transcripts are required, as well as official college transcripts from each college attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    Submit official SAT and/or ACT scores if transferring with fewer than 10 college courses.
  • Essay:
    Must submit the required essay ("Personal Statement").
  • Application Fee:
    There is a one-time $50 non-refundable fee (waived if you have previously applied to Bryant).
  • Other Requirements:
    A list of courses and course numbers not included on the transcript that the applicant expects to complete before the proposed date of enrollment are required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Courses in which a student receives a grade of "C" or better are transferrable, as long as the courses fit into the Bryant curriculum.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Up to 62 credits from a two-year college and 92 credits from a four-year college may be accepted for transfer credit.
