  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    All students who anticipate receiving federal aid CANNOT take 50% or more of their credits in online classes. Doing this will make you ineligible for federal aid. All students who anticipate receiving scholarships provided through BYU–Hawaii must be registered for a minimum of 14 credits (fall/winter) or 9 credits (spring) in order to receive their scholarships.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    Estimated Cost of Attendance: On-Campus $21,752 LDS, $29,606 Non-LDS; Commuter $19,747 LDS, $27,600 Non-LDS. This includes tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, incidentals. Transportation could add significantly to the total.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official college transcripts from all previously attended institutions are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Standardized test scores are required.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    Associate's degrees (AAS, AGS, AS, AA, ALS) from accredited colleges and universities will be accepted to complete GE requirements, with the additional course work of Advanced Writing English 315.
  • Other Requirements:
    All students applying to a Church Educational System school, which includes Brigham Young University, Brigham Young University-Hawaii, Brigham Young University-Idaho, and Ensign College, are required to have an Ecclesiastical Endorsement.
