Bridgemont Community and Technical College builds tomorrow’s leaders through excellence in teaching, learning, and service; bridges the gap between today’s students and the workforce of tomorrow; and broadens the path to lifelong educational goals. We offer academic programs in engineering technology, printing technology, information technology, dental hygiene, business and office technology, allied health, occupational development, technical studies and applied technology; as well as general studies programs for students desiring a flexible curriculum to allow for career options including but not limited to transfer to baccalaureate programs.

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    The most successful applicants start early by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid as soon after January 1, as possible. Applicants should begin searching and applying for scholarship aid at least one year prior to entering Bridgemont.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A transfer student with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.0 will be considered in good standing. Those with a GPA under a 2.0 will be accepted on academic probation.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Ask all previous colleges or universities attended to send an official transcript of your grades to the Office of Admissions (if a student has earned less than 30 hours of college coursework, please submit a high school transcript).
  • SAT Scores:
    The submission of official ACT/SAT scores is required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Bridgemont does not publish a requirement for letters of recommendation.
  • Essay:
    Bridgemont does not publish a requirement for an essay or personal statement.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no application fee required to apply to the institution.
  • Interview:
    Bridgemont does not publish a requirement for an interview.
  • Other Requirements:
    Students transferring from non-accredited colleges must petition the Registrar and Vice President to determine transferability of credit from such instittutions. Evaluation of transfer credits will be approved by the Registrar.

    D grades will be accepted from all accredited colleges.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    If you have earned fewer than 30 hours of college coursework, you must meet freshman admission requirements. Bridgemont does not publish a maximum transfer credit requirement.
