Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Once the UMass Global Financial Aid Office receives your FAFSA, it will be processed and eligibility will be determined. You may be required to supply additional documents for review. The Financial Aid Office will notify you of your award notice; which may include multiple resources.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  Perhaps you’ve completed your general education at one or multiple colleges and now you want to gather up all those credits and apply them towards your four-year degree. UMass Global accepts a wide variety of GE credit transfers.
• Credit For Life Experience:
  We have designed specific academic pathways that allow some students to accelerate to graduation based on their knowledge and previous learning, military training, and work experience.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Students applying for undergraduate admission to a bachelor's program require at least 12 transferable baccalaureate-level credits (or the equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA in all prior college-level coursework.
• Official Transcripts:
  If you are applying to any of our undergraduate programs, transcripts are required from all institutions previously attended including military and foreign institutions.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Prior coursework with a minimum of B- or better from regionally accredited institutions will first be evaluated against UMass Global's credit-hour based courses.
