  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Transfer students may qualify for the Transfer Opportunity Scholarship or the Thompson Scholarship Program. Non-Ohio residents may also qualify for the BG Success Scholarship which provides one-half off the nonresident fee. Transfer students are also encouraged to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using BGSU's school code, 003018. Additional information can be found through the Office of Student Financial Aid.

    Tuition and Fees: $21,750 (Ohio Residents); $29,739 (Non-Ohio Residents). This is an estimate based on a standard occupancy room and standard meal plan. There are additional fees that vary by academic level or college.

  • Accepts Transfers:
    Any student who has attempted 12 or more college-level semester hours after high school graduation (or equivalent) is considered a transfer student.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    2.0 GPA for University Admission
  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit official transcripts from each college/university attended. An official high school transcript is required if you have completed fewer than 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) since graduating from high school (or equivalent).
  • SAT Scores:
    Transfer students are not required to submit ACT or SAT results.
