  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    You must complete separate Financial Aid paperwork (FAFSA) if interested in qualifying for Financial Aid. Financial aid for Blue Ridge Community and Technical College students is part of Enrollment Management Services in the offices at 400 West Stephen Street in Martinsburg. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Students with less than a 2.0 GPA from other institutions will be placed in the Academic Recovery Program.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Provide previous college transcripts, as well as high school transcripts if you have been out of high school less than 5 years.
  • SAT Scores:
    Prospective students who are seeking a degree and do not have ACT or SAT placement scores must contact the Office of Student Success to set up testing, (prior to specified date of Orientation/Registration.)
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $25 non-refundable application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    All classes from previous institutions do transfer, including D and F grades. All transfer GPA’s will be calculated into the overall GPA at Blue Ridge CTC.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    For an associate’s degree, a student must complete at least 24 credit hours of course work at BRCTC. The last 12 hours of course work for an associate’s degree must be completed at BRCTC.
