  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    All applicants for financial aid must complete the FAFSA. Our FAFSA school code is 002124. To be considered for need-based funding, you must complete the College Scholarship Service Profile, CSS code 3096. We offer transfer students Academic, Phi Theta Kappa, and RaiseMe Scholarships.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    The total estimated cost of attendance for domestic students is $76,305 which includes tuition/fees, room/board (may vary), books/supplies, and personal expenses. Transfer students are charged a one-time $250 new student fee.

    Transfer students make up a large percentage of all students in higher education and they are an important part of the Bentley community.
  • Credit For Life Experience:
    We will not award credit for internships or life experience.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Please have all universities/colleges attended submit an official transcript directly to Bentley University. Additionally, we also require a final official high school transcript, GED or HiSET results.
  • SAT Scores:
    We are currently test optional. If you have elected to submit standardized test scores, please note we will superscore results and we will only use them to your advantage.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    An academic letter of recommendation should be sent directly from a college/university professor or instructor to Bentley.
  • Application Fee:
    $75
  • Other Requirements:
    A Midterm Report should be submitted once you have taken mid-year exams or completed midterm assignments and the professor has returned those grades. The Transfer College Report should be sent directly to our office by email or U.S. mail.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    We will award credit for courses where you have earned a C grade or higher that are academic in nature and completed at a regionally accredited institution or non-US institution recognized by the Ministry of Education.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 60 transfer credits may be awarded from all sources of credit combined. Only two courses may transfer into the academic major area of study, and one into the academic minor.
