Scholarships and Financial Aid:

Benedictine University's Office of Financial Aid administers a variety of federal, state and institutional programs of student financial assistance. Each of these programs carries specific student eligibility requirements. In general, students must be formally admitted as degree-seeking and enrolled for a minimum number of credit hours. All financial aid recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Minimum GPA:

With 20+ transferrable credit hours, the minimum G.P.A. is 2.0 / 4.0.
Official Transcripts:

Official transcripts are required from ALL colleges and universities in which the student had enrolled. If less than 20 transferrable credit hours are earned, official high school transcripts are required.
SAT Scores:

N/A if 20+ transferrable credit hours.
Letters of Recommendation:

Only required for students below the minimum admission requirements.
Essay:

Personal Statement is required.
Application Fee:

$40 application fee. Fee may be waived if student visits campus.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

Courses are accepted with the grade of “C” or better in the major and for skills requirements, and “D” or better in all other areas.
Credits (Min/Max):

There is no maximum limit on the number of hours accepted, however, all students must meet the University residency requirements for graduation.
