  • Application Fee:
    Yes, $28 nonrefundable application fee must be submitted with the application. The application fee for the Nursing, Radiation Therapy and Imaging Programs is $40.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transfer credits with less than a D grade (or 1.0) cannot satisfy a graduation requirement.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 60 quarter credits (40 semester credits) may be transferred from other institutions toward an associate degree. Transfer credits can constitute up to two-thirds of the total credits necessary for a certificate.

    BCC sends more transfer students to four-year universities than any other community college in the state of Washington.
  • Transfer Agreements:
    BCC offers six transfer associate degrees. A transfer associate degree ensures your education at BCC will satisfy the lower division general education requirements at the various participating baccalaureate institutions.
  • Special Programs:
    The Educational Planning Resource & Transfer Center helps make the transfer and transition to a four-year university as smooth as possible. They can be reached by calling 425-564-2212.
