Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  The minimum GPA for Undergraduate transfer is 2.25 (a 2.50 GPA required for Integrated Human Biology applicants). All basic science and proficiency coursework must be completed with a grade of C or better. All courses used for transfer credit must be college-level.
• Official Transcripts:
  Official transcripts (for any college-level coursework) are required.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  2 letters of recommendation are required; 1 must be academic (current or former professor).
• Essay:
  A Personal Statement is required with your application.
• Application Fee:
  There is a $75 application fee.
• Interview:
  You may be asked to conduct an in-person interview.
• Associates Degree Required:
  Bastyr University does not require an associate's degree for entry as long as you have the equivalent of 90 quarter credits (60 semester credits).
• Other Requirements:
  Your Resume is required with your application. A Prerequisite Plan is also required.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  You must have at least a 2.25 cumulative grade point average, with a grade of C (2.0) or better in all required courses to receive transfer credit.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  In order to transfer, you will need 90 quarter credits (60 semester credits) completed prior to enrollment at Bastyr. You may transfer a maximum of 135 quarter credits or 90 semester credits toward an undergraduate degree at the University.
