Asnuntuck Community College is one of twelve two-year community colleges in the State of Connecticut. Located in Enfield, Connecticut, Asnuntuck was charted in 1972 to serve eight towns in north-central Connecticut including Enfield, Somers, Windsor Locks, Suffield, East Windsor, East Granby, Stafford, and Ellington. Asnuntuck is one of the smallest community college within the Connecticut Community College system. Asnuntuck Community College is accredited by the Board of Governors for Higher Education and by the New England Association of Schools and College (NEASC). The mission of Asnuntuck Community College is to offer quality education in an accessible, affordable, and nurturing environment.

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Asnuntuck Community College makes available to its students a variety of financial assistance programs. The objective of the student financial aid program at ACC is to provide financial aid to those students who, without such assistance, would not be able to pursue their program of study at the College.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Degree and certificate credit shall be granted for credit courses completed with a letter grade of “C-minus” or better, or with a grade of “P” (Pass).
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The student must complete at least twenty-five percent of the minimum credit requirements at Asnuntuck to earn a degree to certificate.
