Arkansas State University-Mountain Home is a public, open access, two-year campus of the Arkansas State University System, primarily serving students in North Central Arkansas. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Students who have completed fewer than 24 semester hours at a regionally accredited college or university will be admitted on the same basis as entering freshmen. Transfer students with a cumulative GPA below 2.00 may be admitted conditionally with academic warning. No student on academic suspension from any school, college, or institution of higher learning may enroll until the appropriate suspension period has passed.
  • Official Transcripts:
    The submission of official transcripts from all previously attended institutions is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If the 24 transferring hours do not include English Composition and an algebra course, transfer students must also submit ACT, SAT, ASSET or COMPASS scores for placement.
  • Other Requirements:
    A formal application for admission must be submitted.
