Arizona State University- West Campus currently serves nearly 8000 students on its growing, modern, urban campus in northwest Phoenix. The campus features a friendly, supportive atmosphere in the context of a nationally acclaimed, PAC-10 university. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Arizona transfer students must meet one of the following requirements: Associate degree with a 2.00 cumulative GPA or higher or Arizona General Education Curriculum with a 2.50 cumulative GPA or higher. Nonresident transfer students must meet one of the following requirements: Associate degree with a 2.50 cumulative GPA or higher or AGEC with a 2.50 cumulative GPA or higher.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request official transcripts be sent directly to ASU from all institutions you have attended. This includes high school transcripts regardless of your age or credit hours and all colleges you have attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    Have your ACT/SAT scores sent directly to ASU.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $50 non-refundable application fee for Arizona residents. Non-residents, online applications and international applications require a $65 non-refundable fee.
  • Interview:
    Students who do not meet ASU's assured admission criteria may be considered through the individual review process.
  • Other Requirements:
    Some programs have higher admissions requirements in addition to ASU's general admission requirements. Applications are reviewed for admission to these programs during the general ASU admission process.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    ASU accepts college courses in which you have earned a grade of C or better from regionally accredited institutions.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    With the exception of special programs, a maximum of 64 semester hours of credit will be accepted as lower-division credit when transferred from a regionally accredited community, junior or two-year college.
