Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Successful transfer applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.3 on college coursework completed within the last 10 years. (Coursework completed more than 10 years ago is excluded from the GPA calculation.)
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request official transcripts by submitting a Transcript Release Form to all post-secondary institutions you have attended. If you have fewer than 30 credit hours of college-level work, request official transcripts from your high school.
  • Essay:
    A Personal Statement is required telling us briefly about some of your personal interests and aspirations, along with why you think Aquinas College would help you meet your educational goals.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $25 non-refundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    Not required; however, an interview is recommended.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only courses taken at regionally-accredited institutions (in traditional format or by distance learning) with a minimum grade earned of ā€œCā€ will be evaluated for transfer credit.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The amount of transfer credit accepted will be determined by program directors in accordance with degree requirements of the College.
