Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Due to the accelerated programs, students must submit unofficial transcripts for evaluation prior to beginning the first term of study. Official transcripts must be submitted prior to the end of the first term of study.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only courses completed with a “C” (or equivalent) or above will be eligible for transfer credit. This assumes at least a 2.0 on a 4.0 grading scale.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students enrolled in bachelor degree programs must complete a minimum of 25% of their degree program credits in residence in order to qualify for graduation from AIU, 50% if enrolled in an associate degree program.
