Allegany College of Maryland is a high quality, low cost educational community college with its main campus set in the mountains of Maryland's Allegany County and branch locations in Pennsylvania's Bedford and Somerset Counties. At our main campus in Cumberland, Maryland on-campus housing is available. We do our part by providing annual financial aid exceeding $22 million to 84 percent of our students, on top of the nearly half of our students who will also receive scholarships.

    If your GPA is 2.00 or higher at a sending institution, you will receive credit for all transferable course work with a grade of "D" or better was achieved. If your GPA is below 2.00, you will receive credit for work with a grade of "C" or better.

    Those seeking admission to a degree or certificate program must furnish official transcripts covering all previous high school and college work.
