Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer applicants must be in good standing, have a grade point average of 2.5 or better, and have demonstrated the ability to do college-level work.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer applicants must have official transcripts sent to the Admission Office from each post-secondary school attended (regardless of whether they want to receive transfer credit from each institution).
  • SAT Scores:
    Albion College is test optional so standardized test scores are not required for admission.
  • Essay:
    An essay is recommended but not required for admission.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Course work assigned a passing grade equal to or above 2.00 (C or better) on a 4.00 scale may be recognized in transfer. Transfer credits are recorded with a grade of T and are not included in grade point average computations.
