  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    The Financial Aid Office's mission is to serve the student body, provide financial means, promote financial knowledge, and facilitate access to higher education. We help students finance their education by using a variety of sources: scholarships, grants, loans, and work study programs.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Albertus Magnus College does not publish a requirement for a minimum GPA, but assume the higher your GPA the better your chances are for admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official transcript from each of the colleges or universities that you have attended since graduating from high school (If you are applying with less than 60 transferable credits we also require an official copy of your high school)
  • SAT Scores:
    If you are applying with less than 60 transferable credits we also require an official standardized test scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    At least one letter of academic recommendation from a professor or academic advisor who is familiar with the applicant’s academic ability and potential.
  • Essay:
    Must submit an essay or personal statement for admission consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    A non-refundable application fee of thirty-five ($35) dollars.
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required for admission consideration. Suggested information such as a campus visit and conversation with an admission counselor.
  • Other Requirements:
    For those applicants that have been instructed to do so by an admissions counselor, a Current Semester Progress Report must be submitted, but only upon request. Portfolio and resume are suggested for submission.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Albertus Magnus College will transfer credits received from fully accredited colleges and universities where the student received grades of C or better.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 90 credits is transferable from an accredited four-year college for work done satisfactorily (C or better). A maximum of 64 credits is transferable from junior and community colleges. B.F.A. students may transfer an additional 9 credits.
