Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Students may apply for federal and/or private loans and federal work study. The financial aid application will be sent to you upon receipt of your application for admission.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  You must arrange to have an official copy of your law school transcript sent to Albany Law School, including your class rank. If an exact rank is not available, please approximate your rank.
• Official Transcripts:
  Transcripts are needed from all colleges, graduate, professional or technical schools you have attended, either as a matriculant or non-matriculant.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  You are also required to submit two letters of recommendation. These letters may be submitted through the LSAC Letter of Recommendation Service or sent by the author directly to the Law School.
• Essay:
  Statements should be limited to no more than two, double-spaced pages on a topic of your choosing that will provide additional insight into your qualifications and interests.
• Application Fee:
  There is a $70 fee to apply.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Credits (Min/Max):
  You are required to earn at least 55 credit hours at Albany Law School to graduate with our degree.
