    The Adult Undergraduate program offers working adults the opportunity to return to college and promptly complete assocaite's and bachelor's degrees in accounting, business, education, health or human services.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A cumulative GPA of 2.00 is required for transfer students. Students with a GPA of less than 2.00 who otherwise demonstrate potential for academic success at Alaska Pacific University may be considered for admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    ACT or SAT scores are required if you have earned less than 30 transferable semester hours.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Two letters of recommendation are required.
  • Essay:
    A personal essay based on one of several discussion topics is required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $25 non-refundable application fee, which is waived for online applications.
  • Interview:
    Students with a GPA of less than 2.00 who otherwise demonstrate potential for academic success at Alaska Pacific University may be considered for admission and may be invited for a personal interview or asked to take courses in areas of weakness.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credits may only be transferred with a grade of a "C" or higher.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The Admissions Office will assess transfer credits earned by the applicant and will mail an evaluation of the student's transfer credit prior to class registration.
