    The intent of the financial aid (grants, scholarships, work-study and loans) programs is to assist you in paying for the costs of your education while at Aims Community College. By accepting these awards, you have agreed these funds will be used for your educational expenses.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Contact all previously attended institutions and request your Official transcript be sent to Aims.
  • SAT Scores:
    You must have the following: ACT scores (Reading 17, Sentence Skills 18, Math 19), or SAT scores (Verbal 430, Math 460), or successful completion of college-level math and English courses.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    To be eligible for transfer, courses must have been completed with a "C" grade or better at an accredited college or university, or other approved institution.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    As a transfer student, in order to receive a degree you must complete a minimum of 15 semester hours of course work applicable to the degree program at Aims. In order to receive a certificate you must complete a minimum of 50% of course work at Aims.
