Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    If you have earned at least 24 transferable credits, you must earn a minimum 2.0 GPA (on a scale of 4.0) and be in good academic standing at the last institution you attended. If you have earned fewer than 24 transferable credits, you must earn a minimum 2.0 GPA (on a scale of 4.0), be in good academic standing at the last institution you attended, and meet the freshman admission requirements to be admitted.
  • Official Transcripts:
    If your college cannot send your official transcript through online sources or post, please contact our Transfer Admissions contact Michele Brown, and she can work with you.
  • SAT Scores:
    We have waived our SAT or ACT requirement for the time being. We will continue with holistic application review, taking into consideration grades, curriculum, activities and involvement, writing, and character.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    May be required for some programs.
  • Essay:
    Not required.
  • Application Fee:
    $25 non-refundable
  • Interview:
    Interviews and auditions may be required for admission to some programs.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    An associates degree is not required, but encouraged.
  • Other Requirements:
    Additional requirements may be required by some programs of study.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    We accept academic, college-level courses beyond the developmental level completed with a grade of C or better.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There’s no limit to the number of credits we accept, but you must complete at least 45 of your last 60 credits at A1 in order to receive an A1 degree.
