Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  The FAFSA is your key to unlocking federal grants and scholarships, as well as the A1 Transfer Scholarship. A1 FAFSA Code: 001234. As you consider the cost of pursuing your AcademyOne education, keep in mind that most of our students — more than 98% — receive one or more forms of financial aid. That's why we are committed to making your education attainable through scholarships, grants and loans.
• Tuition and Fees:
  We recognize this difficult time will have a serious impact on the income for many. Our Financial Aid Office is available to help. Please complete the Special Conditions Appeal form and send it to Financial Aid at finaid@academyone.com.

  Maybe you’re finishing your 2-year degree and want to move into a bachelors program. Or maybe you started someplace else and just want to get closer to home. Either way, welcome. We’re here to make transferring easy.

Application Deadlines for Transfer

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  If you have earned at least 24 transferable credits, you must earn a minimum 2.0 GPA (on a scale of 4.0) and be in good academic standing at the last institution you attended. If you have earned fewer than 24 transferable credits, you must earn a minimum 2.0 GPA (on a scale of 4.0), be in good academic standing at the last institution you attended, and meet the freshman admission requirements to be admitted.
• Official Transcripts:
  If your college cannot send your official transcript through online sources or post, please contact our Transfer Admissions contact Michele Brown, and she can work with you.
• SAT Scores:
  We have waived our SAT or ACT requirement for the time being. We will continue with holistic application review, taking into consideration grades, curriculum, activities and involvement, writing, and character.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  May be required for some programs.
• Essay:
  Not required.
• Application Fee:
  $25 non-refundable
• Interview:
  Interviews and auditions may be required for admission to some programs.
• Associates Degree Required:
  An associates degree is not required, but encouraged.
• Other Requirements:
  Additional requirements may be required by some programs of study.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  We accept academic, college-level courses beyond the developmental level completed with a grade of C or better.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  There’s no limit to the number of credits we accept, but you must complete at least 45 of your last 60 credits at A1 in order to receive an A1 degree.
