Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students with at least 12 semester hours of credit should have a minimum college grade point average = 2.0 and be in good academic standing.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school transcript, unless you have been out of high school for more than 5 years or you have obtained an associates/bachelors degree, Official college transcripts from each college attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    ACT/SAT Scores (unless you have been out of high school for more than 5 years or you have obtained an associates or bachelors degree)
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    A complete Transfer Recommendation Form is required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no application fee.
  • Other Requirements:
    Transfer students who do not have 12 semester hours of credit should refer to the requirements above for first-year students.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Acceptable coursework showing a grade of "C-" or better is transferable to Wilmington College.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 67 semester hours credit is acceptable from institutions offering only an Associate Degree Program. . A maximum of 97 semester hours credit is transferable from 4-year institutions.
