White Mountains Community College (WMCC) is located in Berlin, New Hampshire and is one of seven colleges in the Community College System of New Hampshire. WMCC offers Associate Degree and Certificate programs, plus training options, preparing students for 21st century job opportunities as well as transfer pathways to four year colleges and universities. WMCC is fully accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). Our courses are the most affordable in New Hampshire and our Academic Centers in Littleton and North Conway make us accessible to all students in the North Country Region.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credits earned through other regionally accredited institutions may be transferred to WMCC if students earned a grade of C or better and if the credits are equivalent to WMCC courses in the students’ degree or certificate program.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students seeking a degree at WMCC must earn a minimum of fifteen credits from WMCC courses. To receive acertificate at WMCC, students must complete at WMCC at least six credits or 25% of the credits (whichever is larger) required for the certificate.
