Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Transfer Academic Scholarships are awarded based on college GPA and range from $3000-$5000 per year. Members of Phi Theta Kappa receive an additional $1000 per year. To view all scholarship opportunities, check out www.okbu.edu/scholarships.

  Yes.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  A 2.5 college GPA is required for regular admission.
• Official Transcripts:
  Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for admission purposes. Official transcripts must be mailed by each college attended before classes begin.
• SAT Scores:
  SAT or ACT scores are not required unless less than 24 college hours have been completed at the time of application. If the applicant is 25 years or older, this requirement is waived.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  No letters of recommendation required.
• Essay:
  No essay required.
• Application Fee:
  No application fee required. It's FREE!
• Interview:
  No interview required.
• Other Requirements:
  If students have less than 24 college credit hours at the time of application, a high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores must be submitted in addition to college transcripts.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  A grade of C or better is required in all major, minor and area of concentration courses. No more than 18 hours of D will be accepted toward a degree.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  No more than 64 coummunity college semester hours will be credited toward OBU degrees. Full credit is given for work completed in accredited senior college & universities depending on course content.
