    Beginning October 1, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CA Dream Act application open. Be sure to apply as early as possible. Cal Poly Humboldt has many scholarships that could assist you in paying for your education. Amounts vary from $500 to $4000 annually, and some are renewable. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Humboldt is currently open to transfer students who have a GPA of 2.0 (C) or better in all transferable units attempted, and are in good standing at the last college or university attended.
  • Official Transcripts:
    You'll need to send copies of your official college transcripts before you can enroll at Humboldt. We accept both electronic and mailed transcripts. High school transcripts may be required of some applicants.
  • SAT Scores:
    The California State University (CSU) has temporarily suspended the use of ACT/SAT examinations in determining admission eligibility for all CSU campuses.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    $70

    An interview is not required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is C (2.0).
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The maximum credits that may be transferred from a 2-year institution is 70. You must complete 30 credits in residence at Humboldt to earn a bachelor's degree.
