Delaware Valley University is an independent, comprehensive university with more than 1,000 acres in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Founded in 1896, DelVal emphasizes experiential and interdisciplinary learning and provides small class sizes where students learn on a first-name basis. Through the innovative Experience360 Program, all DelVal students gain real-world experience in their fields. Located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, DelVal combines the comfort of small-town living with the excitement of big-city access. DelVal offers more than 25 undergraduate majors in the sciences, humanities and business, six master’s programs, a Doctor of Education, and a variety of adult education courses.

    Full-Time: Merit Scholarships for Transfers range from $15,000 to $21,000 annually based on transfer GPA. PTK members receive additional $1,000 per year. Part-Time: Partner School Scholarships of $1,500 per fall and spring terms are available for qualified associate degree holders.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A grade of C is required, however, if the first course in a sequence of two courses is a C- or D, a grade of C or higher in the second course will allow both courses to transfer.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Minimum: 15 Maximum: 90 (15 credits are required in your major of study; 30 institutional credits required.)

Students attend full-time, with options for living on or off campus. Part-time students attend day, evening and online classes. In addition, off-site degree-completion programs are held at Delaware and Bucks County Community Colleges.
